Nose
The 2014 Sgarzon Amphora Cilindrica knows how to convince with deep fruit and earthy aromas. Wild raspberries, dried figs, a hint of cassis and many Mediterranean herbs make the start. With enough oxygen, notes of coffee and noble dark chocolate open up to the taster, all underpinned by a finely chiselled minerality.
Palate
Dense and juicy, the 2014 Sgarzon Amphora Cilindrica glides over the tongue, its tannins seem pleasantly polished, the acidity delicate, moderate and beautifully integrated into the fruit. Despite its maturity, it still appears youthful, lively and refreshing. Invigorating Teroldego, which gives great drinking pleasure in the current stage.
