Color
Sparkling ruby red with clear brick red reflections.
Nose
On the nose, the 2015 Sancerre rouge "Belle Dame" exudes pure elegance. Fine small berries such as wild raspberries, mulberries, black currants, elderberries and some sloe combine with notes of boxwood, elder wood and some sage. Delicate hints of wood smoke, cinnamon and noble dark chocolate complement its aristocratic scent exquisitely.
Palate
On the palate, it presents itself with refreshing fruit and a stimulating acidity. Fine herbal notes and earthy, mineral notes determine its taste and the stimulating finish. An elegant wine, which is an excellent alternative to the far more expensive Burgundian growths.
