Color
The wine presents itself in bright white gold with subtle greenish reflections clear and shiny in the glass.
Nose
This wine is, at the very bottom of its joyful being, a representative of its homeland, Traben-Trarbach on the Moselle, through and through. Its ripe, almost exotic scent of persimmon, physalis and honeydew melon suggests opulence and sweetness. At the same time, however, this is refreshed by the citrus aromas of vervain, lemongrass and tangerine zest, as well as lightly spiced with white pepper.
Palate
The sweetness suggested by the aroma of the 2018 Riesling from Weiser-Künstler is not confirmed on the palate. Only a soft fruit enamel ensnares the juicy aftertaste of the fresh-fruity wine. With vibrant acidity in tow, the wine with a lean and agile body also shows no opulence, but generates effortlessly carefree drinking flow and pleasure.
