Nose
Yellow-fruited is the opening of the 2017 Riesling Riede Steiner Schreck "This is not a love song" from 80-year-old vines. Sweet blossoms and citrus freshness as well as clear herbal hints of eucalyptus and nettle give it a particularly appealing note.
Palate
Charming and almost creamy and yeasty it flows over the tongue, the chalky impression and the ripe and at the same time vibrant acidity attack the taster in the most pleasant way. A wine that leaves you wanting more, which with a moderate alcohol of only 12 Vol% leads to much pleasure without regret and perhaps then to a love affair with musical unison. While it is already wonderful to enjoy in its youthful stage, one eagerly awaits its development over the next few years.
