Nose
The 2020 Riesling Marienburg Erste Lage "Raffes" smells of Boskop apple, vineyard peach, apricot, lemon peel, a meadow full of flowers and herbs, honey, complemented by delicate malty notes. Fulminant and powerful, it already grabs you in the nose, a wine with depth and full expression.
Palate
With pure juiciness it floods the palate, juicy fruit meets fruit sweetness and spicy tannin. Salty, mineral and pleasantly challenging with a long finish that points to its great ageing potential. A Riesling feat with which Clemens Busch once again shows us where the hammer hangs.
