Wine information
The 2017s Trockenbeerenauslese comes from the Ried Zieregg from the coral limestone with brown earth overlay. The Sauvignon blanc was aged in stainless steel.
Color
light to medium golden yellow
Nose
At the first moment it is a little acidic, but this actually dissipates quickly. Then offers the Sauvignon blanc »Essence" a whole basket full of apricots, apricots, oranges and orange peel with a squeeze of lemon and a little lemon pepper added.
Palate
On the palate the Trockenbeerenauslese "Essence" a relaxed round, creamy and full wine, whose 150 grams of sugar, however, are skillfully countered by the almost ten grams of acidity. This is already fun blood young; because the Trockenbeerenauslese is finesse-rich and mineral, salty and lively - especially when served slightly chilled. It still has a long future ahead of it.

- Sachertorte
- Curd dumplings filled with peach compote with butter crumbs and citrus zest
- Aged cheeses, gladly also with blue mould
