Muted garnet red with delicate lightening towards the rim.
The 2014 Pommard Premier Cru "Clos Orgelot" appears animatingly spicy, somewhat wild and animalistic when first smelled. It is precisely this somewhat animal touch that lends it appealing hints and with sufficient oxygen, small, dark berries, wild raspberry jam, orange zest and prunes join in the aroma, combined with a hint of oriental spices and noble tobacco.
Curious, you take the 2014 Pommard Premier Cru "Clos Orgelot" on the tongue and encounter a ripe and at the same time still youthful acidity and tannin structure and a concise minerality, which gives it a beautiful framework. As soon as the first glass is emptied, it already asks for the next one. It will be exciting to follow this drop over the next few years.
If you want to drink it at this point you should decant it if possible.
