Wine information
Olivier Humbrecht
The Pinot Blanc 2021 is a product of the pebbly valley of Turckheim. The concentration of grape varieties has shifted slightly compared to previous harvests, with Pinot Blanc now making up 60% of the blend, and Auxerrois at 40%. Pinot Blanc has proven better suited to the drier and warmer climate of the vineyard in recent years.
Maturation process
The distinct balance of this wine favoured a rapid fermentation phase in our traditional old oak barrels and was left on the full lees until bottling.
Color
A sparkling golden yellow.
Bouquet
The Pinot Blanc 2021 carries a juicy and distinguished personality. The aroma presents a harmonious blend of white peach, pear and fresh grapes led by ginger and a subtle aniseed. Everything comes together in a fine spiciness and minerality.
Taste
The bouquet is mirrored on the tongue, with the fine, bright fruit brought to life by an equally fine spice note and fresh acidity. A wine of sublime drinkability, ideal to serve with a variety of dishes.
