Wine information
The Les Petites Roches in a single-varietal Cabernet Franc from sites on the left bank of the Vienne. All plots have a similar soil profile with lime, gravel and clay. The average yield is 45 hl/ha. Only the forward wine was used, not the pressed wine. After spontaneous fermentation, the wine was aged in concrete and in small parts in big wood after about two weeks of maceration.
Color
slightly transparent ruby red
Nose
This Cabernet Franc is present from the first minute. It smells intensely of red and also a little of green peppers, but of lots of cranberries, elder, iodine and allspice.
Palate
On the palate the Les Petites Roches juicy, almost a little quaffable with chalky tannin and a round acidity. This is a zesty wine with a pleasant freshness and slight acidity. At the same time, it offers a lot of power. A great entry into the portfolio that is already fun to drink.
