Color
At last, a Pinot Gris with the courage to be colourful. This is the reality far removed from industrial filtration. Bright salmon pink with light reflections
Nose
Characterful and expressive Pinot Gris in the basic Rebholz line. The nose oscillates between red and green elements. Red and white currant, a hint of raspberry, white peach and juicy Nashi pear stand out. Elderberries and blackberry bushes add a subtle touch. White flowers add elegance and soft accents. A restrained herbal note paired with white pepper still stands out in the background.
Palate
On the palate, it is straightforward, juicy and cool. The noticeably pleasant but crisp acidity makes it easy to drink. In true Rebholz style, it is packed with fine fruit flavours without being overpowering. It has a fine phenolic structure from the berry skins. This gives it substance and forms its backbone. These fine bitter substances also bind the fruit, making the 2022 Pinot Gris from Rebholz a tasty affair.
