Info
The pure Cabernet Franc comes from the best parcels of the vineyards in Riparbella. The vineyards are located at 220 - 250 metres above sea level, facing the Tyrrhenian Sea. The vine age is 17 years. The soils are calcareous and rich in clay and pebbles. The manual harvest took place at the end of September with first selection in the vineyard. The grapes are gently destemmed to avoid damaging the skins. A second selection follows on the sorting table.
Spontaneous fermentation in conical oak barrels with temperature control. A 30-day maceration period follows with short and regular pump overs. It is then aged in small French oak barrels for 22 months. 80% of the barrels are new. 20% are in the second ageing. No filtration before bottling.

Dark sparkling cherry red, violet reflections
Nose
The Cabernet Franc from Duemani is simply a bank. So profound and honest. Spicy and fruity at the same time. Playful and yet grown-up. Cinnamon plums, plums and mulberries are the dominant representatives of the fruit. Fig and blackberry complement phenomenally. Dark flowers such as hibiscus, violet and mallow provide strong counterparts to the fruit. Its vegetal side is embodied by beetroot, artichoke, tomato and cooked red peppers. Sage and marjoram, along with a little thyme, add herbal spice and slightly cooling, ethereal accents. Delicately reminiscent of cedar wood and warm leather. Mocha and melted dark chocolate round it off. A hint of eucalyptus at the end also goes well with this.
Palate
On the palate, it presents itself incredibly compact and densely woven. Extremely close-meshed and still slightly veiled. The fruit pushes forward powerfully. The acid pressure also sets in promptly. The tannin spreads across the palate and is in a perfect state of maturity. Elegant and meltingly delicate. The vegetal notes add depth. Especially tomato and beetroot make a real good impression here. The herbal spice has receded slightly. The impression of dark chocolate and coffee also manifests itself clearly in the finish.
