Nose
The nose clearly shows character and origin. For all its fruit, it has plenty of southern European flair. Black olives, rosemary, thyme and pine needles are unmistakable. A hint of lavender as well as the clear note of garrique are added as if called for. Behind this, a cornucopia of dark fruity aromas builds up. Elderberry, blackberry and raspberry clearly dominate. A little cassis and sweet cherry support this. Beetroot gives a vegetal and earthy impression at the same time. Hints of black and white pepper and a little roasted coffee are present. It appears cool and taut. The fruit does not seem overpowering, but very well dosed and skilfully used.
Palate
On the nose, it clearly exceeds expectations, the coolness, elegance and filigree are fabulous. It channels the fruit into a fine jet that hits the palate purposefully, this hits the nerve of the time and its acid structure also hits a fine nerve. As a result, this stands out very positively and has a lot of drinkability. As if wrapped in silk, it thus disguises its intense fruit a little. The spicy, Mediterranean traits come to the fore again in the finish. Its lightness, its crisp appearance and the urge to reach for the glass again and again speak for them.
