Info
The 2020 Château Revelette Blanc from the Coteaux d'Aux en Provence appellation is made from 50% Rolle, 30% Ugni Blanc and 20% Sauvignon Blanc. As with all Revelette wines, the harvest is done by hand. The individual grape varieties are first vinified separately six hours of maceration before pressing. Fermentation takes place with natural yeasts at 17°C. Malolactic fermentation follows.
The production in 2020 is 11,000 bottles.
Color
Sparkling straw yellow
Nose
Château Revelette Blanc shows a whole delicate, restrained nose. Totally light and elegant. Orange peel, mandarin skin and some orange juice show abundant citrus aromas. Hay flowers and jasmine blossoms provide subtle floral nuances. Despite its proximity to the Mediterranean, it appears cool. Totally delicate. Green apple, biscuit and a little bergamot are very subtle in the background.
Palate
The cool, delicate impression is confirmed. At the same time, it is very juicy and crisp. The amplitude between day and night temperatures provides tension and ensures a natural preservation of acidity. Stony and with a pleasant bitter note, the 2020 Château Revelette Blanc is an absolute all-rounder. Even in the aftertaste, it offers bright fruity and floral aromas for a long time.
