Color
Bright straw yellow with light and green reflections, frothy and persistent mousseux, high tempo in the fine bubbly perlage.
Nose
Freshly chopped herbs such as parsley, lemon balm and thyme interact with the still clearly present aromas of yeast. The Pet Nat from Aphros is reminiscent of yeast pastries, untoasted brioche and freshly chopped almonds. Lemon zest and juice, a little grapefruit and chamomile blossom go wonderfully with it. A hint of salted almonds comes out with a little oxygen. Green pear as well as yellow apples are equally loud representatives of the nose. The slender sparkling wine from Galicia is enormously inviting and animating.
Palate
Drinking pleasure and absolute nonchalance are the first keywords that come to mind after the first sip. An absolutely uncomplicated sparkling wine that meets a wide audience with enthusiasm and open arms. The bright, delicate fruit repeatedly experiences pleasant peaks of acidity. The citrus notes are style-defining. A fine interplay of acidity and saltiness puts the thickest stamp on it. Wonderfully balanced between these contrasting points. Its fine yeasty melt has a balancing effect between the worlds. In the aftertaste, the fresh herbs are again intensely perceptible, along with plenty of Granny Smith apple.
