Color:
Muted cherry red with clear violet reflections.
Nose:
The 2019 Ace of Spades, Les Myrs seems incredibly primal, somewhat animalistic and wild. Deep dark berry fruit of blueberry, sloe, elderberry and blackcurrant combines with elder wood, leather, barnyard smell and wood smoke. A feminine touch and something playful contribute the notes of violet and peony.
Palate:
His palate shows soft and fruity in the structure, with earthy and mineral nuances that occupy the palate pleasantly. An exciting wine with sensationally low alcohol, which conveys an incredible amount of drinking pleasure. An exceedingly honest and unaffected drop.
Food recommendations by Christina Hilker:
- Porcini mushroom carpaccio with argan oil and sea salt
(Vegetable & Vegetarian)
- Black pudding roasted on beetroot with rosemary

- Grilled kid with bulgur and black olives
