Wine information
This wine is a late-fill Sauvignon Blanc from Ehrenhausen with soils of shell limestone. It combines the stylistics of southern Styria with those of the Tement winery and with 48 months of time that the Sauvignon Blanc was allowed to spend on the fine lees in large neutral wooden barrels and in stainless steel. The wine was spontaneously fermented down to a residual sugar of around 1.2 grams.
Color
light golden yellow with light green reflexes
Nose
The fragrance combines the »Time Play 4« Sauvignon Blanc Fresh green notes of peas, some peppers and gooseberries with those of elderflower, mint and white currants. There are also notes of pears, figs, but also some green olive and tobacco.
Palate
It is remarkable and impressive how straight the Sauvignon Blanc »Time Play 4« presents. On the one hand, it seems as if the time of six years has passed by without a trace, on the other hand, the wine has a depth and inner peace that it could not have had at the beginning. It seems ethereal and cool, minty and salty. The fruit is partly crisp and partly ripe, but always very juicy. The acidity becomes clearer and more decisive towards the finish, the wine more and more mineral. In the finish, the saltiness and acidity provide mouthwatering liveliness.
