Information
For this rosé, 91 % Chardonnay were used, to which 9 % Pinot Meunier Vin rouge with a long maceration period were added. There was no malolactic fermentation, chaptalisation, filtration or tartaric stabilisation. No sulphur was added when the wine was disgorged. Rose de Solemme contains no dosage.
Color
salmon-coloured with lively perlage
Nose
The 1er Cru Rosé named Rose de Solemme combines ripe red berries and red apples with a touch of blond tobacco, biscuits and noisette to create an elegant and delicate rosé that is both precise and pleasantly unagitated.
Palate
On the palate, this is a crisp, dry, powerful champagne with a lively perlage, cool in its red berry fruit, juicy, slightly salty with fine acidity and a delicate flavour.
