Nose
Once again, this puristic, concise, intense and at the same time fresh aroma of the 2020 naturweiss by Kai Schätzel fascinates the nose. Red clay-slate notes combine with clear yeasty notes, apricot, orange, candied orange peel and a hint of wild raspberry. Notes of anise, fennel, camomile, white pepper and green tea contribute facet and further exciting components.
Palate
Pure freshness on the palate combines with a lot of density, creamy and spicy aspects. The fruity aromas of the nose reappear beautifully, complemented by grapefruit and young pineapple. Perfect drinking flow in combination with spice and grip in the long finish. Natural wine at it's best, wow! Decant!
