Nose
The situation Pouilly-Vinzelles Les Longeays has the reputation of producing balanced and long-lasting Chardonnays. At least the former can be guessed from the bouquet. The wine combines lively light and citrus notes with ripe yellow plums and white-fleshed peaches. The fruit is accompanied by a little jasmine, tree bark, leaves and rocks.
Palate
On the palate, you can taste the Pouilly-Vinzelles We can state something similar. Here, too, there is a pleasant balance of bright and punchy citrus fruit and acidity, fine, slightly yeasty creaminess, some resistance from a fine tannin and decent salt in the finish. The Chardonnay has a very good length and intensity, whereby the elegant fine-pored texture remains present until the finish.
