This delicious bottle of sparkling wine comes from the high altitudes of the vineyard with an impressive fermentation time on lees of 30 months. It presents a radiant golden yellow hue complemented by a vibrant and luscious string of pearls.

In terms of aroma, the Brut Riesling Sekt 2019 delivers an effective fruitiness. You can detect the deliciously ripe pineapple, mango and a subtle hint of ginger. However, there is also a more floral side to this Champagne with fragrant bright flowers and flora that could place you in the middle of a flowering meadow. Subtle hints of verbena, anise, fennel, lovage and liquorice underline the depth and complexity typical of this sparkling wine.

The palate reveals a refreshingly dry and precise note, accompanied by great fruitiness and an appealing body. Thanks to its gentle phenolic, it is excellent as an aperitif, but can equally well be an excellent partner for a fine meal. Just one sip immediately creates a desire for more.

As alternatives to the recommended dishes, this sparkling wine could go well with grilled peach wedges with rocket and spinach salad and a light citrus dressing. Or try a puff pastry filled with tuna. A fine terrine of chicken with star anise, pear wedges and toasted hazelnuts would also be an excellent choice.
