Color
The wine is bright white gold with subtle silvery reflections and a clear sheen.
Nose
The nose of this cuvée of yellow Muskateller and Muskat Ottonel is, as expected, intense, fragrant and playful. A sensory foray across flowering meadows opens up, characterised by blossoms of acacia, thistles, nettles and marigolds. Kiwi and passion fruit, as well as kumquats and lime zest complement the floral notes and receive spicy support from a hint of liquorice, chervil and white pepper.
Palate
On the palate, the 2015 Muscat from Domaine Zind-Humbrecht in Turckheim delivers everything the nose promised. Its fragrant character asserts itself light-heartedly on the palate and celebrates the beauty and lightness of being, like the first ray of sunlight shining through, creating a rainbow that breaks through the stormy cloud cover.
Full of pronounced fruit peppered with vitalising acidity, the juicy wine is agile and surprises with a dry finish.
