Color
Muted garnet red with delicate brick red reflections towards the rim.
Nose
On the nose, the 2014 Mercurey "La Plante Chassey" shows restrained fruit, reminiscent of cranberries and wild berries, but the fine spicy and earthy notes are all the more present. Light tobacco combines with beetroot and white pepper.
Palate
The palate of the 2014 Mercurey "La Plante Chassey" presents itself with a mineral and concise structure and appears extremely elegant and light on its feet. Each sip lingers on the tongue for a long time, asking for more. The stimulating finish is characterized by stony notes and wild raspberry fruit. A perfect food companion that light-footedly envelops the palate.
