The Les Marnes Blanches V18 Brut Nature is a 100% Chardonnay champagne with a radiant golden yellow colour, fine perlage and aromas of citrus, apple and white peach. On the palate, it shows a taut, precise and pleasantly demanding texture with salty notes and fine carbonic acidity. This elegant and purist champagne is perfect with dishes such as fresh goat cheese, scallop carpaccio or corn poulard breast.

Details of the drop:
This exclusive champagne represents a varietal purity of 100 % Chardonnay and is deeply rooted in shell limestone and silex. The vines look back on a proud 40-year history. After a careful hand harvest, it underwent a spontaneous fermentation that took place entirely in wooden barrels. It spent six months in yeast maturation, after which it matured directly in the bottle for another three years. Dosage does not exist here. This champagne is limited to an exceptional number of only 1000 bottles.

Description of the visual aspects:
A radiant golden yellow that reveals lively fine bubbles.

Olfactory description:
The Les Marnes Blanches V18 Brut Nature presents a prominent mineral component reminiscent of shell limestone. The fresh scent of sea air fuses with a delicate hint of crushed limestone. In addition to the puristic attack, one encounters fruity notes of citrus, apple and white peach, which enrich the aromatic spectrum in an invigorating and elegant way.

Flavour note:
Slim and elegant, this drop presents itself on the tongue and shows itself sophisticated with taut precision. Salty hints mingle with lots of lemon. A touch of finest carbonic acid gives it liveliness and freshness. A true feast for the senses that does not need a bit of dosage, but convinces solely through its intense, elegant and puristic appearance.

Excellent Harmonising dishes:
Enjoy this champagne in combination with creamy goat's cream cheese, served with sweet candied pieces of papaya and a touch of fresh rosemary. Another option would be carpaccio of fresh sea urchin roe garnished with caviar and a drizzle of citrus cream. A third recommendation is a succulent breast of chicken served with kumquats, baby pak choi and a creamy risotto.
