Nose
The aromas of the 2011 Königsbacher Idig Riesling Großes Gewächs are impressively influenced by the limestone soil on which it was grown. After a longer opening, intense fresh aromas emerge, reminiscent of citrus, lime, green apple and fresh ginger. one day of opening, it is reminiscent of wild raspberries and cassis.
Palate
On the palate, the 2011 Königsbacher Idig Riesling Großes Gewächs literally explodes with its vibrant acidity and distinctive and salty minerality. The patient will be rewarded in a few years with a wine that will rank among the great white wines of the world in terms of complexity and finesse.
