Info about the wine
The grapes for Grüner Veltliner Nussberg come from two vineyards on the Nussberg, the "Weisleiten" vineyard and the "Haarlocke" vineyard. The Nussberg consists mainly of limestone-rich shell limestone with limestone in the subsoil.
Color
Medium, light golden yellow with clear green reflections.
Nose
The 2021 Wien Nussberg Grüner Veltliner shows bright juicy fruit of pear, quince, quince jelly and yellow apple sauce. Hints of anise and vanilla underline its charming impression on the nose. A hint of white chocolate and dry biscuits as well as candied ginger skilfully round off the multi-layered fragrance.
Palate
Creamy, gentle, with a fine spiciness, it glides over the tongue - a real charmer that flirts with invigorating fruit and fine fruit sweetness. The perfect wine to accompany dishes with acidic and spicy influences.
Enjoy not too cold from a larger Burgundy glass.
