Wine
D'Ouréa Gigondas 2014
Color
light ruby-red
Nose
Adrian Roustan's Gigondas is dark and dominated by Syrah, although the Syrah content is only 10 %. In addition, there are 80 % Grenache and 10 % Cinsault. Nevertheless, notes of tar, meat, tapenade, earth, herbs and pepper are in the foreground, which makes the Gigondas very attractive.
Palate
On the palate, the red from the south of the Rhône presents itself juicy, dark berry and with soft tannin. What is fun is the freshness and liveliness as well as the classic aromas of garrigue, plum and ripe cherries.
Food recommendations by Christoph Raffelt
- Peasant bread with tapenade noire, verte et à la tomate
- Milanese osso buco
- Sou fassum, stuffed cabbage with tomatoes, sausage and smoked bacon
