Sparkling straw yellow, green reflections, fine perlage and strong mousseux.
Nose
The Baden Riesling Sekt Brut from the 2018 vintage is open-hearted and yellow-fruited. Typical for a Riesling, it lives from aromas of yellow and green apples, peach and lemon. The yeast ageing is present but discreet in the background. Lime zest, a little almond biscuit and lemon balm provide aromatic diversity. Lemongrass and a little candied ginger also join this round of aromas.
Palate
On the palate, the Petit Adler spreads out wonderfully and goes all out. The mousseux gives it a lot of body and pressure. Its open-hearted nature is also very flattering on the palate. No sooner has the mousseux reached its peak than the acidity snaps in between like a lasso, giving it freshness and lightness. The aromas oscillate between yellow and green. In the finish, it lives from the crisp acidity, which draws it neatly into the length and makes it lively. Extremely animating and juicy.
