Nose
Roasted aromas and above all coconut are loudly present in the glass. Roasted coffee and tobacco leaves promptly strike the same note. Black pepper and grated dark chocolate are also an ideal match. Violets and hibiscus set off intense floral scent marks. Cassis, blueberry and blackberry are clearly behind the other aromas. Tonka bean, cubeb pepper and cinnamon present themselves alongside rosemary and sage. Dark buttered toast is just around the corner. Burnt coconut wood and fir branches crackling in the fire round it off as it began.
Palate
Its fine tannin structure gives it a proper stamp. Finely melting and pleasantly fine-pored, it is full of juice and crisply structured. The tongue automatically clicks after each sip. Behind the tannin structure, it shows itself linear, cool and mineral. Its smoky components as well as the ethereal spice are clearly in front of the fruit on the palate. Contrary to the intense, dark nose, it appears balanced, almost shyly reserved and seemingly still at the beginning of its time. The drinking flow is already clearly positive.
