Nose
The Beerenauslese from the Slovenian part of the Riede Zieregg shows itself with a hint of flint and mushrooms, lots of grapefruit and lemons including zests, but also with notes of cassis and stone fruit.
Palate
On the palate the Desertno Vino over much strength and sweetness, but also structure and a light tannin texture. Here, stone fruit notes - fresh and juicy as well as dried and concentrated - and citric notes mix, which at the same time provide for a piquant bitter note. Sweetness and acidity, texture and structure form a harmonious interplay here.
Food recommendations by Christoph Raffelt
