Colour & Appearance
Luminous, pale straw yellow with brilliant clarity. The perlage displays itself as fine and persistent – a visual promise of elegance and finesse.
Nose
Here unfolds the full complexity of a Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs. Ripe quince and dried apricots meet sultanas and a hint of yellow apple. Yet what distinguishes this Champagne is its earthy depth: truffle butter, walnut, beechnuts and a subtle note of Montélimar nougat. The name „Mycorhize“ – the symbiotic connection between fungal roots and vines – becomes sensorially tangible here.
Palate
Remarkably balanced between opulence and precision. The fine perlage carries a creamy texture with chalky minerality, whilst the vibrant acidity perfectly delineates the ripe fruit aromas. Almond spice biscuit harmonises with stony austerity – a Champagne that commands both richness and tension equally. The Extra Brut dosage (under 6 g/l) allows the terroir to take precedence.
