Nose

The nose of the Cuvée Irizée Meunier In keeping with the grape variety used, the nose is expressive, far more opulent than that of the Cuvée Irizée Chardonnaybut at the same time remains very precise. The scent of baked apples, ripe stone fruits and kumquats, a little wax, lightly toasted almonds and brioche quickly ensures that one would also like to have this substance on the palate.

Palate

There it immediately creates tension. This is caused by the fact that the Champagne also shows an abundance of aromas and also opulence here, but this is countered by an agile acidity and tingling minerality. It tastes of candied lemons, a little butter on warm yeast plait, apple pie and sweet spices, smoke and rock. And despite all this, the Cuvée Irizée Meunier Always clearly structured, firm and precise at the core with pushing acidity and plenty of freshness.
