Color

Bright velvet red with delicate brown reflections and light rim

Nose

A cornucopia of aromas generously pours over us. Sour cherry paired with plum, cassis and mulberry come first. This is immediately followed by plenty of spice. Black pepper, juniper, but also cinnamon and clove leave their scent marks. Dark chocolate provides deep, honest components. Liquorice clearly veers in the ethereal direction. Hints of cocoa butter and roasted coffee beans reinforce these associations. A nuance of white truffle stands in the glass next to abundant undergrowth, forest floor and pine cones. This balsamic-etheric mix is ingenious. Toasted walnuts and hazelnuts are added ingeniously. Finally, it reveals rosemary and black olive.

Palate

On the palate, it radiates energy and elegance. It literally vibrates on the palate and is noticeably carried by its acidity. This releases many blissful moments in the mid palate. The fruit is dark, but is always contrasted by the acidity. Its tannin is very delicate and just melts away. The dark spices in the form of coffee, chocolate and the spices discovered above offer ample resistance to the fruit without becoming obtrusive. It lives from an almost incomprehensible length and elegance. Taut and edgy at the same time. Its crystal-clear minerality comes to the fore behind the fruit, tannin and acidity. This is how Nebbiolo works today.
