Nose
The 2017 Bruant from Alta Allela appears very calm, almost thoughtful on the nose. Delicate vegetal notes remind of herbal tea and birch leaves, also birch water. Balanced and quiet like a Japanese mountain lake in the fog, restrained fruit aromas of green pome fruit, almonds and white flowers blend into the meditative still life.
Mouth
In the drink, the Cava from 100% Xarello also shows itself very balanced and calm. The fine perlage accelerates him like a cool mountain stream, contoured by the mild and tart bitterness, which contrast his fine spicy nature nobly. With barely pronounced fruit, it is aromatically outlined by herbaceous and nutty notes. Dry as a whistle without an ounce of fat on its ribs, it flows quietly yet lightheartedly to its destiny. Outstandingly unexcited effervescence with serious depth.
