Color:
Brilliant golden yellow with clear green reflections.
Nose:
The 2020 Auxerrois from Michael Andres exudes juicy fruit and exoticism on the nose, carambola, honeydew melon, pineapple, citrus and a hint of ginger. With a little air, the exotic scents pair with ripe pear and delicate florals. Even though the fruit is still in the foreground at this stage, the mineral underpinnings and plenty of spice are already flashing clearly. This Auxerrois has depth and expression!
Palate:
On the palate, it is extremely juicy with the inspiring fruit of the nose and a fine fruit sweetness that gives it a charming touch. Exciting drop, pressed from a grape variety that one rarely gets to taste. A wine that does not shy away from fruity, acidic and spicy components in the food, but just in combination with them comes to top form.

- Sour and spicy mussel soup with aromatic tomato broth
