Info about the wine
Cabernet Sauvignon spontaneously fermented in wooden barrels, matured for 12 months in French oak barriques. Limited production of 4,710 bottles.
Color
Muted cherry red, almost black at the core with violet reflections.
Nose
In the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Amburza from Laderas de Montejurra, we find intense dark fruit notes on the nose, reminiscent of black cherries, blackberries and clearly cassis. Accompanying the intense fruity notes are equally intense floral and herbal scents reminiscent of violets, lavender, rosemary, thyme and paprika. Aromas of dark chocolate and a distinct wood spiciness give it an extremely distinctive expression already on the nose.
Palate
On the palate, it presents itself with a lot of spice, juicy fruit and an opulent structure full of power and depth, which makes it the perfect companion for grilled and braised dishes. A lot of wine in the glass for little money.
