One of Jean-Paul Metté's 5 most popular distillates is this double brandy made from fermented mirabelles, of which 2/3 of the fruit comes from Alsace and 1/3 from Lorraine. It is aged for at least 12 years in stainless steel tanks before bottling. Tasting notes by Emmanuel Nasti With impeccable clarity to the eye, this brandy made from fermented mirabelles from Alsace and Lorraine is convincing. On the nose, you can literally smell the sun, the beautiful ripeness of the processed fruit, the nutty aroma. The palate is full and very fruity. Emmanuel Nasti, head sommelier and co-owner of the starred restaurant Le Chambard in Kaysersberg, is a border crosser. An architect by training, he has devoted himself to his passion, excellent cuisine and wine, since 1995.
