Color:
Bright lemon yellow, radiant and clear.
Nose:
The nose is open-hearted and generous and wraps one directly around the finger. Its profound fruit is reminiscent of lemon zest as well as the white mesocarp of citrus fruit, which in combination with the delicately salty minerality reminiscent of oyster shells outlines the arc of tension of this wine. The ripe polished fruit vibrates in crystalline brilliance with intriguing and profundity.
Mouth:
The 2018 Klosterberg from Peter Jakob Kühn is full of tension on the palate with a creamy melt and piquant acidity. With mouthwatering minerality and citrusy contoured fruit, it shows itself disciplined on the palate with rapid drinking flow, the indicator always on the left. Very dry with a dense extract, it makes you want to refill the goblet quickly, despite its youthful appearance and the best prospects for a few years of bottle maturity.
