Color
Light greenish yellow.
Nose
The 2021 Riesling Kabinett VDP estate wine from Kai Schätzel is mineral, with fine fruit and already wonderfully open and animating in 2022. Peach meets lime, grapefruit, sweet grapes, fine yeasty spices and herbs. You want to float away just by smelling it.
Palate
On the palate, a perfect symbiosis of sweetness and acidity. With this wine, Kai Schätzel succeeds in combining complexity and mineral depth with light-hearted drinking pleasure. This impression is further underlined by the slender 7.5 vol%. Bottle barely opened, bottle empty, bravo!
