Color
Light straw yellow with green reflections.
Nose
In the nose joyfully yellow-fruity with notes after apricots, sweet almonds and white tea. Accessible, almost shoulder tapping, it comes towards the inclined taster. The 2015 Reiterpfad is located above Deidesheim, with the farmyard parcel named as a special parcel after the Prince Bishop of Speyer. Crushed oyster shells provide salty, iodine-like accents on the nose.
Mouth
On the nose, the 2015 Reiterpfad Hofstück Riesling GG from Weingut Christmann is juicy with tart fruit and spicy back-up Apricots and sage mingle with allspice and ethereal fruit in the top notes. Its fine, delicately salty minerality and tart, warm finish give it thrust and tension. Animatingly mouthwatering, approachable with perspective. Large glasses recommended.
