Color
Cloudy straw yellow with green reflections.
Nose
The 2019 Purist from the Fritsch winery also keeps its namesake promise on the nose. Pure and idiosyncratic, it smells of cider apple as well as cut, slightly oxidized apple and restrained floral notes of hay flowers. A fresh summer meadow after a decent downpour outlines the vegetal notes of this impetuous PetNat, which would prefer to be opened over the sink.
Mouth
With effervescent mousseux on the palate, it is juicy with fine fruit and floral hints. The 5050 Cuvée of Riesling and Gelber Muskateller is dry on the palate, accelerated by its distinctive fruitiness and its tart nature, which slightly roughens the tongue and has a pleasantly mouth-watering effect. Aromatically, it oscillates between unripe apple, citrus and delicate yeast notes, which it combines with low-threshold sipping resistance and invigoratingly cool finish in the goblet.
