As early as the 18th century, Domaine Lejeune was founded in Pommard, where it found its headquarters a short time later in the historic buildings of the former Brotherhood of Saint Sacrement. With François Jullien de Pommerol, the winery gained a very good reputation. Today, Aubert Lefas puts the icing on the cake. He combines a very classic vinification with organic farming, adapted harvesting times and a focus on finesse and liveliness. This is particularly important in Pommard and makes a decisive difference to the often rather archaic or rustic wines of the appellation. With Aubert Lefas, there is no sign of this. His wines are among the finest in the appellation.
