Details of the sparkling wine
This stately sparkling wine was made from a blend of Riesling, Pinot Blanc and Auxerrois grapes harvested at the estate's high altitudes. To bring out its remarkable aromas, it was kept in a yeast storage for 30 months.
Color
The sparkling wine presents itself in a sparkling golden yellow, infused with an invigorating and wide-ranging perlage.
Scent
The beguiling fragrance of the 2019 Blanc de Blancs Brut Nature consists of an exquisite blend of citrus, apple, wild herbs and a subtle maritime note reminiscent of mussel shells.
Taste
When tasted, the sparkling wine reveals itself to be a true virtuoso of finesse and complexity. It serves excellently as a palate opener and is a perfect counterpoint to refined dishes.
Alternative food recommendations
Enjoy this sparkling wine with fine dishes such as a carpaccio of pear and parsnip, refined with caramelised almonds. It also complements exotically spiced dishes such as scampi on a bed of sweet potato puree and ginger, finished with a hint of agave syrup glaze. Furthermore, it makes an exquisite counterpart to a tasty pork belly dish served with parsnip, green cardamom and a subtle hint of cayenne pepper.
