Wine information
Olivier Humbrecht
This small, fine Muscat Petit Grain has adapted elegantly to the warmth of recent wine years, both colours grown this time in the sandy-loamy flood soil near the winery reflect this.

Processing notes
The physiological ripeness is extremely important in order to dampen the excessive imprint of the Muscat character. The climate in Turckheim plays a part in this. The grapes reach perfect ripeness with a lower alcohol potential, which allows the wine to ferment quickly and completely dry.

Color
The appearance presents a bright, radiant golden yellow, topped with silvery nuances.

Scent
In 2021, the Muscat Turckheim unfolded a magnificent bouquet of fresh grapes, young apricots, grapefruit and roses that was initially somewhat closed and reductive - a tribute to its youth. Sufficient aeration in the youthful stage is an absolute must, after which additional notes of ivy and musk appear, followed by a hint of coriander, white pepper and ginger.

Taste
The palate is refreshed, invigorated and delighted by the pleasant dryness, accompanied by an overwhelming flow and a fine, appetising spiciness. One could enjoy a glass or two more of it and it unfolds its full power when enjoyed with innovative dishes. Rounded off with aromas of yellow fruits and ginger on the finish, its exotic approach is accentuated with strong minerality.
