Wine information
Rémi Jobards Meursault "En Luraule" comes from the village vineyard of the same name in the middle of the Meursault district. There, Jobard owns a 0.45 hectare parcel with vines more than 30 years old, which is in the direct neighborhood of the Les Gouttes d'Or 1er Cru vineyard.
The Meursault "En Luraule" is vinified at Rémi Jobard with the same precision as all his wines. This also means that after spontaneous fermentation, the wine sits on its lees for almost two years, in Stockinger barrels and tonneaux.
Color
pale straw yellow
Nose
At Meursault "En Luraule" lemons and limes meet freshly cut green apples and green pears, still unripe mirabelles, lime, chalk and green almonds. Above that, there is a fine scent of white blossoms and a few oatmeal. The wine seems cool and reserved, but is precise and polished.
Palate
On the palate the Meursault VillageAt the same time, it offers a very silky texture, an impressively taut acid corset. Here, too, the fruit remains mainly in the green spectrum, but is accompanied by lime and crushed oyster shells as well as a little salt lemon. The En Luraule builds up quite a bit of pressure - the power of a Meursault it has anyway - and delivers a good punch to the palate, but always remains finesse-rich and elegant - completely in the style of Rémi Jobard.
