  • 🎨 Colour: Brilliant, clear gold with fine pearls that dance gently in the glass.
  • 👃 Flavour: A bouquet of fresh citrus fruits, underlaid with delicate notes of brioche, thanks to the long maturation on the lees, and a hint of mineral coolness, inspired by the diverse terroir of Langenlois.
  • 👅 Flavour: On the palate, a masterful balance between lively acidity and creamy texture, crowned by a long-lasting, mineral-influenced aftertaste that reflects the complexity and depth of the wine.
  • 🎭 Character: Deep and complex, a symphonic composition that combines authenticity and elegance in every sip. By no means bold or loud, but an expression of the finest craftsmanship.
  • 🍽️ Food recommendation: Perfect in harmony with fine seafood, or as a noble accompaniment to tender white meat, which gently emphasises the subtle nuances of the wine.
  • ✨ Special features: The symbiosis of different terroirs in the Kamptal and the Thermenregion gives this Brut Nature an incomparable identity, characterised by the craft and vision of Fred Loimer.

Actually, Fred Loimer should be a geologist by profession. The terroir he cultivates in the Kamptal and the Thermenregion is so diverse that one could easily lose track of it all. The winery is located in Langenlois, the central municipality in the growing region. In the northern part, the Bohemian Massif dominates with gneiss and mica schist, and in the Heiligenstein also sandstone. Towards the Pannonian Basin, the rocks have often been covered by metres of ice-age loess, and towards the Danube one finds thick gravel terraces of the Urdonau. It is a real pleasure to compare the different Grüner Veltliners or to taste the three top vineyard Rieslings side by side. In Gumpoltskirchen, the wines show how similar the Thermenregion is to Burgundy. All the wines, no matter from which terroir, are always authentic, profound and complex, yet never fat or loud.
