Nose
The fruit appears dark and generously portioned. The fruit is enveloped by a lactic touch. Cherry-cream sweets and a little mulberry, but above all elderberries are the dominant parts. Erotic fruits like banana and coconut, but also vanilla are restrained in their expression. Red pepper and juniper bring spice and etherealness into play. Hibiscus comes in from the floral corner. Rosehip and red fruit tea set the focus in another direction. 2020 Flores de Callejo presents itself cool, lean and full of finesse. Marjoram and thyme set the final chord.
Palate
From the first sip, the Tempranillo provides the inclined drinker with a lot of drinkability and juiciness. It reveals its cool side and forms an ingenious duo with a fine-grained tannin. The acidity counteracts this. The tannin builds slowly and is active on the palate for a long time. It appears lean and cool. Full of finesse and with a mineral framework. The fruit is also restrained and pleasantly balanced on the palate and in the finish. Its tart components characterise it in a pleasant way.
