Info:
A cuvée of Viognier and Gamay aged on the skins for 8 months.
Color:
Clear orange, brown reflections.
Nose:
WOW. What a revelation on the nose. Completely against my expectations. I'm sensing candied orange and cinnamon. Reminds me a bit of Christmas cookies. But there is so much more. Ground white pepper comes in. Also, an ethereal note develops on the nose, reminiscent of walks in fir or pine forests. With more air in the glass, green tea comes in.
Palate:
Positively pleasant bitterness. This is enormous, but still enormously bright in its aroma language. This orange wine gives me enormous drinking pleasure. The cuvée of Viognier and Gamay is full of juice and challenges the palate in just the right doses. Not too much, not too little. Candied orange, but also white pepper and the ethereal also show up in the reverberation in an elegant way.
