The Domaine Thomas Morey is located in Chassagne-Montrachet. Thomas and his wife Sylvie cultivate about 13 hectares in the appellations Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet and Bâtard-Montrachet, Maranges, Santenay, Saint-Aubin and Beaune. The Moreys are 10th generation winemakers in Chassagne. In 2006, they decided to go into business for themselves. In 2014, they decided to have the farm certified organic. Thomas is able to work largely with old vines from the 1950s and 1960s. New plants are planted from sélections massales of old vines. In the cellar, spontaneous fermentation is carried out without exception, the proportion of new wood is about 20 %, and sulfurization is minimal.
