Wine information
The vineyard was first mentioned in 1290 as "»an frauwenhalten" and was then owned by a nunnery. It is located 250 meters above sea level and is characterized by limestone gravel on pure limestone rock. The vines of this exposed site must be able to cope with both heat and cool winds. In order to reach the minerals, the vines have to root very deep.

Nose
The Great Growth from the Frauenberg is characterised by a warm fruit that blends solidly and elegantly with a fine yeasty note and spice. The wine has depth and warmth without being lush, rather increasingly smoky and stony. It offers a hint of extract sweetness, of nut and tobacco.
Mouth
On the palate the Nieder-Flörsheimer Frauenberg velvety and silky, very elegant and juicy. It is a wine at rest in itself with dark minerality, light pressure and piquant light red berry and stony spicy tones, which has a high degree of vitality. The finish is long and slightly salty.
