Wine information
La Fleur au Verre is a pure Chardonnay without added sulphur. It comes from the La Corvée aux Moines vineyard near Puligny-Montrachet and was harvested quite early. After a slow pressing and a spontaneous fermentation, the wine underwent a malolactic fermentation on the full lees and was aged in large barrels for six months. The wine was bottled unfined, unfiltered and unsulphured.
Color
light golden yellow
Nose
The nose of the La Fleur au Verre Blanc shows a flinty reduction and also a volatile acidity that, at least for me, is still exactly on the good, the appealing and inviting side and makes the wine directly attractive. In addition, there are lemons of salt, green apples, yeasts and hops.
Palate
On the palate, there is an energetic, high and punchy acidity combined with the citrus green and yellow aromatic juiciness that you already had on the nose. The wine is full of energy and electricity. La Fleur au Verre is a tonic drink with fine grip, salt and life.
